Aims and Scope
Basic and Clinical Cancer Reports (BCCR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing research across the broad field of cancer biology, oncology, and cancer care. The journal publishes high-quality basic, translational, and clinical research addressing the prevention, biology, diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer.
BCCR welcomes original research articles, clinical studies, review , systematic reviews, meta-analyses, brief reports, book review , hypothesis and other scholarly contributions covering all aspects of oncology, including:
Cancer biology, molecular oncology, genetics, genomics, epigenetics, and cancer metabolism
Tumor microenvironment, cancer immunology, immuno-oncology, and inflammation
Cancer biomarkers, molecular diagnostics, liquid biopsy, precision medicine, and personalized oncology
Cancer prevention, screening, early detection, epidemiology, and population health
Medical, surgical, and radiation oncology
Chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, cellular and emerging therapies
Drug development, treatment response, resistance, recurrence, and metastasis
Hematologic malignancies and solid tumors, including rare and pediatric cancers
Cancer pathology, imaging, radiomics, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and computational oncology
Clinical trials, real-world evidence, outcomes research, and evidence-based oncology
Supportive care, palliative care, rehabilitation, survivorship, quality of life, and psychosocial oncology
Cancer genetics, hereditary cancer, global oncology, health services, and cancer control
BCCR particularly encourages multidisciplinary and translational research that connects laboratory discoveries with clinical applications and contributes to improved cancer prevention, earlier diagnosis, personalized treatment, patient care, and survival outcomes.
The journal welcomes contributions from researchers and healthcare professionals worldwide and aims to provide a platform for advancing innovative, evidence-based, and clinically meaningful cancer research.
